Futures and Options
Nadia McKinney is a Senior Upstander Instructor at The Center for Anti-Violence Education. Nadia has experience as a Program Coordinator at Futures and Options, Social Work Intern at The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community Center, and Clinical Research Coordinator at Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center. Nadia founded the NYC Chapter of Platform Women and has also worked as a McNair Research Scholars Assistant at Cornell University. Nadia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Society, Public Policy from Cornell University and a Master of Social Work from Silberman School of Social Work- Hunter.

Futures and Options empowers New York City’s youth, particularly youth of color and students from historically underrepresented communities, to acquire transferable professional skills, pursue higher education, and successfully compete in a global 21st century economy. We collaborate with New York City employers to provide transformative career development opportunities to young people, enabling them to succeed in college and inspiring them to pursue meaningful careers.
