Ira Stening

Ira Stening has over 20 years of experience in the corporate sector. In 1997, they began their career at Ericsson Corporation as a Trainee, progressing to Market Analyst and then Senior Corporate Analyst. In 2002, they moved to Uponor Corporation, where they held the roles of Forecasting Project Lead and Manager of Business Analysis. In 2012, they joined Advintos GmbH as a Managing Director and Senior Consultant. In 2014, they became Head of Market Intelligence at Lemminkäinen Corporation, and in 2016 they joined M-Brain Group as Vice President of Service Development. In 2017, they became a Member of the Finnish Business Angels Network (FiBAN). In addition, they have been a Member of the Board of Sentina Oy since 2015 and a Board Member of various growth companies since 2016. Since 2019, they have been a Senior Consultant of Strategic Foresight & Foresight Capability Development at Futures Platform.

Ira Stening's education history includes a M.Sc.(Econ) from Hanken School of Economics in Organizational Leadership from 1991 to 1998, a M.Sc from emlyon business school in Marketing/Marketing Management, General from 1996 to 1997, a Certified Board Member (Hyväksytty hallituksen jäsen, HHJ) from Finland Chamber of Commerce from 2016 to 2017, and a Certified Futurist (CFAR, Center of Futures Intelligence & Research) from Metafutures School in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies from 2022 to 2023.
