Tyler Sammy

Tyler Sammy has a diverse work experience in the technology and creative industry. Tyler started their career in 2006 at Sinking Ship Entertainment as a Compositor. In 2007, they joined Design Vision Incorporated as a New Media Production Manager, where they stayed until August 2013. In 2012, Tyler co-founded Futuretalk Inc, where they focused on building TheSystem, a platform-as-a-service for education, art, and industry. Tyler also worked as the Executive Technology Director at Thought Café, starting in August 2012, where they facilitated collaboration and utilized automation and AI to enhance creative content. From May 2017 to April 2020, Tyler worked as a VR Shaman at House of VR, focusing on immersive experiences.

Tyler Sammy attended York University/Sheridan College from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a BDes (Hons.) degree in the York/Sheridan Program in Design along with a Diploma in Digital Design. Prior to attending the university, Tyler Sammy also studied at Middlefield Collegiate Institute, although the specific duration and qualifications obtained from this institution are unknown.
