Scott Mitchell

Scott Mitchell currently serves as the Vice President of Operations at Futureverse, a role held since June 2023. Prior to this, Scott held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Altered State Machine from April 2022 until the company's acquisition by Futureverse. Scott has extensive experience in the marketing and operations sector, having previously been an Advisory Council Member at ANZA from February 2014 to June 2022 and Group CEO at both WeAreTENZING and Otterfish in late 2021. Before these roles, Scott was the CEO of Brand Developers Limited, where leadership extended to over 400 staff across five countries, and responsibilities included managing extensive marketing and supply chain operations. Scott's career began at Watermark Communications as a Marketing/Sponsorship Assistant, following an Assistant Category Manager role at Mitre 10 (New Zealand) Limited. Scott holds degrees in Commerce, with a focus on Marketing, from the University of Auckland and the University of Otago.
