Guillaume de Foestraets

Guillaume de Foestraets is a seasoned engineering professional with a strong background in hardware development and product design. As Co-Founder and CTO of Futurewave since April 2020, Guillaume is instrumental in providing integrated services through innovative technology. Prior experience includes a role as a Hardware Engineer Consultant at Cowboy, where critical components such as Bluetooth and GPS were optimized, and a position as a Hardware Development Engineer at Dekimo, focusing on FPGA development for automotive applications. Guillaume's earlier tenure at Nokia involved designing high-performance FPGAs and ASICs, while initial experiences included embedded systems engineering with SmartBird and consulting in electronics with LSM Conseil. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Université catholique de Louvain, alongside international study at Polytechnique Montréal.
