Kristin Burns

Kristin Burns has worked in the media industry since 1993. Kristin began their career with Landsmen as a Morning Show Co-Host, Producer, News Director and Asst. Promotions Director at 92.1 The Edge (WWDX-FM). In 1995, they moved to Liggett Broadcasting as Music Director, Middays, Interim Program Director and Morning Show Co-Host at Buzz 95 (WVIC-FM). In 1997, they joined Dick Broadcasting Company, Inc. as Asst. Program Director and On-air Middays at 98.7 The X (WXVO-FM). In 1998, they moved to Clear Channel Radio as Asst. Program Director, On-air 10a-3p at The River 105.9 (WHCN-FM), Asst. Program Director, On-air 10a-3p at Rock 101 (WGIR-FM), and Asst. Program Director, On-air 3p-7pm at 100.3 (WNIC-FM). In 2013, they joined Cumulus Media as On-Air Talent at 96.3 WDVD. In 2014, they joined Specs Howard School of Media Arts as Career Services Radio Advisor and Internships. In 2017, they joined Futuri Media as Operations Manager, Sales and Partner Success Consultant/ Special Projects Coordinator.

Kristin Burns attended Michigan State University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Journalism.
