Janis Nixon

Janis Nixon is the Head of Partnerships at Futurpreneur. Janis was previously the Director of Corporate Partnerships at WE, where they cultivated and grew 50+ complex strategic partnerships and led a team of 11 in support of WE Charity's domestic and international development goals. Janis has also worked as the Group Account Director at Shed Creative Agency, where they supervised business development, account management, creative strategy, marketing solutions, event management, sponsorship funding and digital marketing for a large roster of high profile corporate, non-profit & agency partners.

Janis Nixon has a BA in Political Science from McMaster University. Janis is certified by the Ontario Cycling Association as the Volunteer of the Year for 2019, and by The IRONMAN Group as an IRONMAN. Janis is also certified by PADI as an Advanced Open Water Diver.

Their manager is Karen Greve Young, CEO. They are on a team with Dan Ouimet - SVP, External Engagement, Anukul Sharma - CFO, and Kevin Garcia - Head of Diversity & Inclusion & IT Director.
