Janni Turunen

Janni Turunen has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Janni has held positions such as Head of Engineering, Head of Engineering & Analytics, Product Owner, and Lead Data Scientist in companies like Fuzu Ltd, Custobar, OP Financial Group, and D2 Solutions | Data & Analytics. Janni has also worked as an Advisor in Machine Learning and AI at Fuzu Ltd and as an AI Lead at Solita. In addition, Janni has experience as a CTO and Partner at Fuzu Ltd, Chairman of the Board at As Oy Käpytie 8 (Käpytie 8 Housing Co-operative), and as a Team Lead and Senior Developer at Digital Foodie Ltd.

Janni Turunen completed their secondary education at Oulun Lyseon Lukio from 1992 to 1995, obtaining an IB Diploma. Following that, they pursued a degree in Development Studies and Politics at SOAS University of London from 1997 to 2000. In terms of additional certifications, Janni obtained certificates in Neural Networks for Machine Learning from Coursera in May 2018, Creative Applications of Deep Learning with TensorFlow from Kadenze Inc. in June 2017, and Machine Learning from Coursera Course Certificates in January 2017.
