Monojit Mitra

Monojit Mitra started their career in 2005 as a Manager for Hospital Planning and Management at EPOS Health India Pvt. Ltd. From 2007 to 2009, they worked as Deputy General Manager (Biomedical & Ancillary Services) at Apollo Hospitals - Dhaka, where they supervised and controlled maintenance schedules, inventory management, training, and procurement processes for medical equipment. In 2009, they joined Apollo Bramwell Hospital, Mauritius, first as an in- and out-patient manager and then quickly promoted to Clinical Services Director, providing guidance in medical facility establishment and effective governance. Since 2010, Mitra has been working at Far East Medical Vietnam Limited, initially as a Facility Director and later as Facility and Biomedical Director, leading the operational and capital finance budget for the facility department.

Monojit Mitra has a diverse education history. In 2021, they obtained a CPD Certified degree in Healthcare Quality and Performance Improvement from IHLM - Institute of Healthcare Leadership and Management. The following year, in 2020, they received a Certification in Six Sigma from Advanced Innovation Group Pro Excellence (AIGPE).

In terms of their postgraduate studies, Monojit completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital Administration at the Global Institute of Medical Sciences from 2012 to 2013.

Earlier in their education, Monojit pursued engineering studies. Monojit obtained an AMIE Section A Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering and Electrical Engineering from West Bengal Board of Technical between 1987 and 1990. Monojit also completed their 10th Standard at South Point High School from 1972 to 1984.

Additionally, Monojit has obtained several certifications. Monojit recently completed certifications in IBM CyberSecurity Fundamentals, Basic Network and Database Security from edX, and Cybersecurity Compliance and System Administration from edX. In 2021, they earned certifications in How to Handle Poor Performers and How to Inspire and Develop Your Direct Reports from LinkedIn.

Monojit also possesses certifications in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt from Advanced Innovation Group Pro Excellence (AIGPE) and ISO 31000 Enterprise Risk Management for the Professional from Udemy.
