Cordell Carter, Esq. serves as the Founding Executive Director of the Project on Belonging at The Aspen Institute, focusing on advancing national discussions on diversity, equity, and inclusion to foster a culture of belonging. With extensive experience in nonprofit management, Cordell also leads initiatives at the Socrates Network and holds multiple advisory and board positions, including with Mendoza Ventures, Quantum Corridor, and the President's Commission on White House Fellowships. An educator, Cordell conducts lectures on inclusive democracy at the Federal Executive Institute and has a robust educational background including a J.D. from Notre Dame Law School and an M.S. in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University.
