Phillip Connor is a highly experienced demographer and researcher specializing in migration and immigration issues. Currently serving as Senior Demographer and Immigration Fellows Director at FWD.us since September 2020, Phillip previously held the role of Statistician at the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, where statistical analyses and reports were crafted for agency leadership and stakeholders. Phillip's earlier tenure at Pew Research Center included positions as Senior Researcher, leading global migration projects, and Research Associate, focusing on immigration and religion topics. An independent consultancy role was undertaken to provide global population estimates for a development agency before joining Pew Research Center. Phillip's academic background includes a PhD and MA in Sociology from Princeton University, along with an MA in Sociology from McGill University and a BA in Music from Acadia University.
