John Kangas began their career in 2013 as an Application Developer for HealthFitness, where they worked to develop a wellness website. John then moved on to FwdMbl Solutions, LLC, where they were the CEO and Partner/Application Developer. In this role, they architected and coded several Xamarin Apps, WebApi, and MVC Portals that were commercially sold. In 2016, they became an Application Consultant for TSG Solutions Inc., providing UI/UX and backend development services on a HTML5 MVC Web Application. That same year, they also became an Application Consultant for Krueger Wholesale Florist, Inc., where they updated VAI System 2000 Version 3.7 to Version 5.4 and all custom programs. In 2015, they were an Application Consultant for Goldn Plump Poultry Inc., where they updated and modified a WinForms Desktop, WCF Web Service backend, Windows Services, and Windows CE Mobile shop floor reporting system. In 2017, they were an Application Developer for Buffalo Bills, where they designed the UI for the College WPF Application, setup the projects, and laid out the Prism MVVM framework used in the application. John also worked as an Application Developer for Krueger Wholesale Florist, Inc., where they updated an in-house custom MVC 3 customer portal. Lastly, in 2018, they became a UI/UX Developer for ScentAir, where they developed an Angular 2 customer web portal allowing customers to view invoices and make payments. John also worked as an Application Developer for MaraTech, Int’l - Channel Resources Group, where they provided support for Sales and Commission Database, updating MS Access reports, macros, VBA, and queries and Crystal Reports based on new information from Sage ERP system.
John Kangas has a varied educational background. John attended Nicolet College from 1988 to 1990, where they studied Programmer Analyst/Information Technology. John then returned to Nicolet College in 2011 and completed two certificates, one in IT - Mobile Application Development and one in IT - Web Programming & Development.
