Michael Simpers

Michael Simpers has over two decades of work experience, starting with their time in the US Navy from 1999 to 2010, where they served as an Aviation Warfare Systems Operator and held various leadership and training roles. Following their military service, they worked at DDL OMNI Engineering as an AIREM Analyst, focusing on objective assessments of air Anti-Submarine Warfare systems and tactics.

Simultaneously, Simpers worked at Aviation Systems Engineering Company as a Senior Engineer, where they conducted analysis and reporting of operational and maintenance findings for Department of the Navy projects.

From 2015 to 2018, Simpers worked at Innovative Professional Solutions as a Senior Engineer, leading corporate proposal efforts for Department of Defense contracts and overseeing the development of contract documentation.

In 2018, they joined EPS Corporation as the Engineering Director/Program Manager before being promoted to the Director/General Manager role in their Mission Support Services Division. Michael eventually became the Vice President/General Manager of the same division. Simpers then briefly served as Vice President at an undisclosed company in 2022 before assuming the role of Vice President of Operations and Client Services at FWG Solutions in 2023.

Michael Simpers attended the Johns Hopkins University from 2015 to 2018, where they pursued a Master's Degree in Systems Engineering. Prior to this, they enrolled at Webster University from 2013 to 2014 and completed a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Procurement and Acquisition Management. Michael's undergraduate studies were conducted at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University from 2009 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree, with a major in Aeronautics and a minor in Management.
