Director Of Research at FX

Sam Brandl has a strong background in research and analysis within the media industry. Sam began their career as an Audience Intelligence and Research Strategy Intern at Fox Broadcasting Company in 2008, where they provided support for various projects and processed daily reports using Nielsen Galaxy Explorer. In 2009, they transitioned to the role of Research Analyst at the same company, before moving on to FX Networks (Fox) in 2012. At FX Networks, they held positions as a Senior Research Analyst, Manager Research, and eventually Director of Research, starting in July 2016.

Sam Brandl attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Arts & History. Sam then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2020 to 2023. In addition, Sam obtained a certification in Business and Financial Modeling Specialization from Coursera in 2019.
