Prior to FX Networks, Shannon worked at Fox (Film, TV & Sports) as Manager of Talent Acquisition from September 2011 to January 2017 and held a position as Recruiter (Consultant through YOH) at Discovery Communications for a brief period in 2011, focusing on business affairs, production, and development recruitment. Shannon began a consultancy role at NBC Universal in 2009, acting as a full life-cycle recruiter for various networks, and also worked as a sourcer for the east coast Universal Television Group, supporting the recruitment process with candidate identification and interviews.
