Samantha Pires is a designer at FXCollaborative, having joined the firm in July 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a contributing writer for My Modern Met from September 2020 to March 2022 and as an adjunct instructor at the New Jersey Institute of Technology in early 2021. Samantha's design career began as a junior designer at BIG - Bjarke Ingels Group from June 2019 to April 2020, and earlier roles included a research and graphic design fellowship at the Mayors' Institute on City Design, as well as work as a realtor at Mid-Realty, Inc. between September 2015 and January 2020. Educationally, Samantha holds a Master in Architecture II from Harvard University (2021-2023) and a Bachelor of Architecture from the New Jersey Institute of Technology (2014-2019). Other notable experience includes a position as a college aide at the New York City Department of Transportation in 2016.
