Meghan Raftery

Meghan Raftery is an accomplished education professional with extensive experience in instructional design and innovation in K-12 education. Currently serving as an Education Designer at Education Design Lab since August 2023, Meghan also holds the position of Founder at Edjacent and has contributed as Curriculum and Training specialist at Defined Learning since June 2018. Prior roles include Instructional Designer at Curriculum Rx, Innovation Coordinator at Virginia Beach City Public Schools, Executive Director at BUY FRESH BUY LOCAL HAMPTON ROADS, and various positions at Virginia Beach City Public Schools, including School/Community Partnerships Coordinator and Coordinator for Elementary Social Studies. Educational qualifications include a BSED in Elementary Education from Shippensburg University, an MSED in Teaching and Curriculum from Penn State University, and various certifications in educational leadership and gifted education.
