Dean Ackerman

Dean Ackerman has extensive experience in operations management across multiple industries. Currently serving as EVP of Operations at FXI since 2019, Dean previously held the position of VP of Operations Seating Americas at Adient from September 2018 to 2019. Dean's tenure at Lear Corporation spanned a decade, where various roles included Vice President of JIT Operations in Europe & Africa, Vice President of Global Ford Business, Vice President of North America Operations, and Vice President of European Metals. Prior experience includes leadership as President and Managing Director of Lear Korea and Vice President of Operations for Asia Pacific Operations from 2001 to 2008. Dean also worked at Delphi as Operations Manager from 1999 to 2001. Academically, Dean earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University and an MBA in Operations and Corporate Strategy from the University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business.
