Marty Clemons

Marty Clemons has a diverse work experience with a focus on legal roles and advisory positions. Marty is currently employed at FyberX as the General Counsel, starting in March 2023. Marty also serves as an Advisory Board Member at FyberX since January 2022. Marty previously worked as a Partner at the Industrial Hemp Summit since December 2017. Marty was the President of the North Carolina Industrial Hemp Association from December 2016. Marty was a Board Member at CyclEFFECT Regenerative Ventures, a cooperative venture capital firm supporting regenerative businesses in various sectors, from October 2018 to August 2020. Marty also served as a Board Member at Carolina Friends School from August 2017 to August 2020. Marty has prior experience as a Yoga Teacher at various yoga studios from May 2002 to August 2015. Marty was the Founder and Owner of Bend Yoga & Movement Studio from 2009 to 2012. Marty has also worked as Corporate Counsel at QAI, Inc. from February 2002 to February 2006, and as General Counsel at MLN, LLC from January 2000 to January 2001. Marty started their career as a Securities Lawyer at Northern Trust Corporation from February 1999 to February 2000.

Marty Clemons has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Management Information Systems and Entrepreneurship from the University of Arizona - Eller College of Management. Marty also holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from Pepperdine Law and a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Financial Markets and Trading from the Illinois Institute of Technology Stuart School of Business.
