Jan van Buggenhout

Jan Van Buggenhout currently serves as the Head of Group Finance and Global Corporate Controller at Fyffes, overseeing critical financial functions within the organization. Previously, Jan held the position of VP, Corporate Controller EMEA at Bayer, directing Accounting, Tax, and Internal Control functions for the EMEA region, as well as managing integration and transformation projects following Bayer's acquisition of Monsanto. Jan's extensive experience includes a long tenure at Monsanto Company, where roles ranged from Corporate Controller EMEA to CFO of the Crop Protection Division, leading significant financial operations across a diverse portfolio with revenues in the billions. Jan's professional background is supported by a comprehensive education in finance, accounting, and taxation from several prestigious institutions, including Vlerick Business School and the University of Antwerp.
