Marina Souza

Marina Souza has extensive work experience in the legal field, holding various senior roles in multinational companies. Marina began their career as a Senior Associate Lawyer at Cardigos and later worked as a Senior Legal Consultant at Felsberg and Partners Europe and Pellon and Associates LLP. Marina then joined Nidera as a Senior Legal Manager and later became the Group Compliance Officer. Marina also worked at COFCO International, where they served as the LATAM Legal Director, Group Senior Legal Counsel, and Group Senior Corporate Legal Counsel. In 2016, they started working as a Professor at Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa and Instituto dos Advogados de São Paulo - IASP. Marina currently holds the position of Global Head of Legal / Company Secretary at Fyffes and is a Board Member at WISTA Switzerland.

Marina Souza began their education at USP - Universidade de São Paulo, where they obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from 1998 to 2002. Marina then pursued a Master's degree in Law at the University of Lisbon from 2006 to 2010. In 2011, Marina attended the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne for a short period and achieved a BAC+5 degree in Droit Communautaire. Finally, in 2013, they studied Contracts in Infrastructure at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, although no specific degree was mentioned for this program.
