Kaarel Kivistik

Kaarel Kivistik is a software development professional with experience in the field since 2014. Kaarel has held the role of Head of Software Development at both Fyma and SIFR since 2019 and 2018 respectively. Prior to this, they were a Web Architect and Developer at Mooncascade, where their duties included bootstrapping new projects and maintaining existing ones, choosing an appropriate technology stack, setting up CI/CD pipelines, and mentoring and consulting developers and project managers. Technologies used included Angular, React, and Redux.

Kaarel Kivistik completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Information Technology at TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they attended Hugo Treffneri Gümnaasium from 2009 to 2012. In December 2017, they obtained a CSM certification from the Scrum Alliance.
