Simon Wahlgren

Simon Wahlgren has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Simon is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Fyndiq since January 2020. Prior to that, they had their own consulting company called Simon Wahlgren Consulting AB, where they worked as a Senior Software Engineer starting from December 2018.

Before starting their own business, Simon worked at Aranya AB as a Senior Software Engineer / Cloud Engineer from August 2014. Simon also had a stint at Rapid7 as a Senior Software Engineer from May 2019 to December 2019.

Simon's previous experiences include working at YDB Technologies AB as a Software Engineer from September 2018 to February 2019. Simon also worked at Fyndiq AB as a Software Engineer from October 2014 to September 2018. At Fyndiq AB, they played a significant role in maintaining and implementing new features for an e-commerce backend system, as well as architecting and implementing a new global e-commerce platform from scratch.

Prior to their roles at Fyndiq AB, Simon worked at H & D Wireless Sweden AB as a Software and System Test Developer Engineer from November 2013 to October 2014. Simon designed and implemented a test automation framework from scratch to automate system tests.

Simon also worked at Ansaldo STS A Hitachi Group Company as a Software Developer from June 2013 to November 2013. Simon worked as a consultant via Tritech Technology, and their main responsibility was to build a system for extracting data from trains' signal system and presenting it on a web page for technicians.

Previously, Simon worked as an Embedded Software Developer at Tritech Technology AB from March 2012 to November 2013. Simon also had a short-term role as a Software Developer at CellMax Technologies, where they worked on further developing and maintaining the company's production line system for testing base station antennas using LabVIEW and Microsoft SQL.

Simon Wahlgren's education history begins in 2007 when they enrolled at Nackademin, where they studied Network and Linux. Simon completed their studies there in 2009. Following this, they attended the KTH Royal Institute of Technology from 2010 to 2011, focusing on Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In 2011, they then moved on to AGSTU, where they obtained a degree in Applied Electronics for Embedded Systems, which they completed in 2012.
