Katie Havranek

Katie Havranek has a diverse work experience in various research and development roles. Katie is currently working at FYR Diagnostics as the Director of Research and Development since October 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Research Scientist at FYR Diagnostics from October 2020 to November 2022. Katie also worked at The University of Georgia as a Postdoctoral Research Associate from October 2019 to October 2020. Before that, they served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Montana from June 2013 to May 2019. Katie'searly work experience includes working as a Chemist at Mylan from May 2011 to May 2013.

Katie Havranek has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from West Virginia University. Katie also holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Integrative Microbiology and Biochemistry from the University of Montana. In addition, they have obtained the certification of Technologist in Molecular Biology (MB) from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP).
