Jason Prapas

Jason Prapas has worked in a variety of roles since 2006. Jason began their career as a Process Engineer at GreenFuel Technologies in 2006. Jason then moved on to Tufts University as a Graduate Student Researcher in 2008. In 2010, they began working at Colorado State University Energy Institute as a Research Scientist and Graduate Research Associate/ PhD Student. In 2013, they became Chief Technology Officer, Cofounder, and Director of India Operations at Factor[e] Ventures. In 2017, they joined Massachusetts Institute of Technology as a Research Affiliate and Translational Research Director of the MIT Tata Center for Technology and Design. Most recently, in 2019, they became the CEO and Founder of FYTO, Inc.

Jason Prapas completed their Bachelor of Science in Physics from Brandeis University in 2006. Jason then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University, which they completed in 2010. After that, they obtained a Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University in 2013.
