Toyosi Ijato, Ph.D, CSPO, SAFe-POPM

Toyosi Ijato, Ph.D, CSPO, SAFe-POPM has worked for a variety of organizations since 2011. In that year, they served as a Youth Corps Officer/Biology Tutor for the National Youth Service Corps. From 2013 to 2017, they worked as a Basic Science Teacher for Model Secondary School. During this time, they also served as a Scientific Researcher for the University of Hohenheim from 2017 to 2021. In 2021, they worked as a Research Plant Physiologist for the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) Agricultural Research Service (ARS) and as a Postdoctoral Research Associate (Plant Biology) for the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Most recently, they have worked as a Plant Scientist for Fyto, Inc. since 2022.

Toyosi Ijato, Ph.D, CSPO, SAFe-POPM has an extensive educational background. In 2006, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Botany/Plant Biology from the University of Benin. In 2014, they obtained a Master's degree in Environmental Protection and Agricultural Food Production from the University of Hohenheim. In 2017, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Agricultural Science from the same institution. In 2021, they earned a Postgraduate Degree in Data Science and Business Analytics from the Texas McCombs School of Business. Toyosi is currently enrolled in a Master of Business Administration - MBA program at Fitchburg State University, which they are expected to complete in 2023. Additionally, Toyosi Ijato holds certifications from the Scrum Alliance, including Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) obtained in November 2021, Certified ScrumMaster\u00ae (CSM\u00ae) obtained in December 2021, and Certified SAFe\u00ae 5 Product Owner/Product Manager obtained in December 2021.
