John Ferron has a diverse and extensive leadership background, particularly in high-growth technology companies. John has held various executive positions throughout their career. From 2020 to present, they have been the Chief Executive Officer of FYVE. Prior to that, they were the Chief Executive Officer of Resolve Systems from 2018 to 2020. John served as the Executive Chairman & CEO of HEAT Software from 2016 to 2019. Before that, they were the Chief Executive Officer of NetMotion Software from 2014 to 2016. From 2008 to 2014, they were the Chief Executive Officer of Purple Communications, Inc, a leading provider of communication solutions for the Deaf and hard-of-hearing market. In their earlier roles, they were the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of CELERITY, INC from 2004 to 2008, and the Chief Financial Officer of Kinetics from 2000 to 2004. John also held a Vice President of Finance and Group Controller role at Compaq from 1998 to 2000.
John Ferron has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management (emphasis in Finance) from Northern Arizona University, which they obtained from 1982 to 1986. John also holds a Master of Science degree in Tax and Financial Planning from San Diego State University, which they earned between 1990 and 1994.
