Avik Bhatnagar

Avik Bhatnagar is currently a Research Scientist at FZI Forschungszentrum Informatik since August 2023 and a Research Student at the Hardware for AI Lab, International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore, where work focuses on developing a real-time autonomous in-cabin sensory system for passenger anomaly detection. This system incorporates seat cushioning with embedded pressure-sensitive conductive sensors, Raspberry Pi, and Analog to Digital Converter Chips. Previous experience includes a Research Intern position at the University of Stuttgart from July 2022 to December 2022 and a Research Internship at RWTH Aachen University from May 2022 to June 2022. Avik was an active member of the Enigma Robotics Club from December 2018 to December 2020. Avik completed an iMTech in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore from July 2018 to July 2023, following education at The Emerald Heights International School in Indore from 2004 to 2018.
