Frank Bieder

Frank Bieder is a PhD candidate at FZI Forschungszentrum Informatik, specializing in machine learning, computer vision, and autonomous driving. With a robust background in research, Frank has led industrial projects on map-less driving and localization on HD maps. Previous experience includes a visiting scholar role at the University of California, Berkeley, as well as positions at atlatec GmbH and Mercedes-Benz AG, focusing on deep learning and object tracking. Frank has contributed to various research projects and internships, including work on scene understanding, sensor fusion, and autonomous vehicle testing. Academically, Frank holds a PhD in Robotics & Cognitive Systems from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and has completed exchange studies at the University of California, Berkeley.
