Fabián Caballero

Fabián Caballero is an accomplished professional in the field of mechanical engineering and data science, currently serving as an Artificial Intelligence Specialist at Grupo Globo - Mídia e Conteúdo since October 2020. Previously, Fabián held positions at COPPE / UFRJ as an Associate Researcher focusing on data science, where significant advancements were made in processing drilling data and developing machine learning tools. At LNCC, Fabián contributed to the adaptation of the EnKF formulation for reservoir simulators and optimization of history matching processes. Earlier experience includes project engineering and mechanical engineering roles, demonstrating a strong foundation in both practical and theoretical aspects of engineering. Fabián holds a Doctor of Science and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and an Engineer's degree from the Industrial University of Santander.
