Currently serving as Chief Information Officer (CIO) at MásMóvil Panamá, José is a key member of the Executive Committee, reporting directly to the CEO of the country’s leading telecom provider.

A strategic pillar of Liberty Latin America (LLA), MásMóvil is the market leader in both fixed and mobile telecommunications services, across B2C and B2B segments, in Panamá.

In this role, José spearheads the transformation and execution of mission-critical BSS and OSS platforms, aligning local innovation with LLA’s regional strategy.

José brings over 25 years of executive leadership and technical depth, having held C-level and senior leadership roles across global technology giants and high-impact enterprises.

His journey spans:

• Liberty Latin America, as Senior Director, Regional IT Operations Center of Excellence, orchestrating multi-country IT operations across the Caribbean and Latin America.

• Intcomex, as CIO, leading end-to-end digital transformation for one of the largest tech distributors in the region.

• Copa Airlines, as Director of Data & Analytics, elevating one of Latin America’s top airlines into a data-driven enterprise.

• SAS Institute, Microsoft, Teradata & Accenture: leading roles in architecture, advanced analytics, and enterprise solutions across the Americas, Europe and Middle East.

A cross-industry expert, José has hands-on leadership experience in 8+ sectors, including Telecommunications, Wholesale & Distribution, Airlines & Travel, Manufacturing, Finance & Banking, Healthcare, Utilities, and Retail, consistently driving results in complex, regulated, and fast-paced environments.
