Rodrigo Cardenas

Rodrigo Cardenas is an experienced professional in the telecommunications industry, currently serving as Senior Director Mobile at Liberty Latin America since October 2018. In this role, Rodrigo leads the network strategy and engineering for mobile networks across 17 countries, overseeing a budget exceeding USD 100 million for CAPEX and OPEX. Prior to this, Rodrigo held several leadership positions at Cable & Wireless Communications, where responsibilities included network strategy and optimization across 15 countries, as well as managing significant CAPEX budgets. Additionally, Rodrigo has a robust background with Entel, where achievements included the deployment of a nationwide FTTH network and overseeing budget efficiency for both mobile and fixed networks. Rodrigo's career began at Arch Latin America and Universidad de la Frontera, where contributions included software engineering and development for telecommunications projects. Rodrigo holds a Master's in Business Administration from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and a degree in Civil Engineering in Computer Science from Universidad Austral de Chile.
