Sonja Van den Bergh is an experienced communication and event management professional currently serving as the Communication & Event Officer for G-STIC: Global Sustainable Technology & Innovation Community and providing event management support for VITO since June 2020. Prior career experience includes the role of Communication Assistant at Cleantech Flanders from June 2018 to June 2020, and various positions at VITO from March 2003 to June 2018, including Assistant Manager for the Flanders Cleantech Association and Assistant Head of the Verification Office for Benchmarking. Earlier in their career, Sonja worked at Vlamco nv from 1997 to 2003 in promotion, marketing, and sales. Sonja holds a graduate degree from Karel de Grote-Hogeschool.
