Scott Demuth

Scott DeMuth has a comprehensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Scott served as the President of the Recyclers Coalition of Illinois in 2022. Prior to that, they held various positions at g2 revolution, including President, Chief Compliance Officer, and Vice President of Business Development. At g2 revolution, they focused on leading the business development, marketing, and sales efforts for a recycling service provider.

Before joining g2 revolution, DeMuth worked at ARCADIS as an Associate Project Manager, where they assisted clients with environmental, health, and safety issues. Scott also worked at The Shaw Group as a Client Program Manager, supporting national retail, food, and equipment rental clients. Additionally, DeMuth served as the Director of Environmental Affairs at Sears Holdings Corporation, overseeing the development and implementation of corporate environmental programs.

Their earlier experience includes roles at Sears, Roebuck and Co., where they served as the Manager of State Government Affairs (East) and Manager of Environmental Technical Services. As Manager of Environmental Technical Services, they played a key role in developing the company's first internal corporate environmental status report. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Environmental Engineer and Environmental Engineer at Sears, Roebuck and Co., where they managed underground storage tanks and conducted contamination assessments.

Scott DeMuth obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from Northwestern University in 1991. Scott later pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Roosevelt University, completing it between 1998 and 2000. In addition to their formal education, Scott DeMuth holds a certification as a Certified Environmental Manager.
