Gayathri R. has more than 20 years of work experience in various roles related to data management, data governance, and quality assurance. Gayathri currently serves as the Data Governance Lead at g2o since November 2019. Prior to this, Gayathri worked at CAS for 10 years, where they held the position of Data Management Engineer. In this role, they actively participated in data governance processes and played a key role in developing data strategies and reviewing tools for Data Catalog. Gayathri also worked as a Systems Engineer at CAS for 5 years, where they focused on reviewing data models, XML schemas, and performing data analysis using various tools.

Gayathri's work experience also includes a role as a Data Architect/Developer at ICC from 2008 to 2010, a QA Lead/Manager at Sitel from 2007 to 2008, and an Engineering Manager at Motorola from 2005 to 2007. Gayathri began their career at JPMorgan Chase in 2003 as a QA Lead/Manager and worked as a Sr Software Engineer at Lucent Technologies from 1996 to 2005.

Gayathri R. obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Osmania University between 1990 and 1994. Gayathri then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from Western Michigan University from 1994 to 1996.

In addition to their formal education, Gayathri R. has obtained several certifications. Gayathri became a Collibra Expert through Collibra in September 2020. In June 2017, they completed Kafka Essential Training and Tableau 10 Essential Training from Lynda.com. In November 2009, they acquired the Informatica Data Quality certification from Informatica, and in March 2009, they obtained the Netezza Silver 4.5.x certification from Netezza. Gayathri R. also holds an AWS Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS), obtained in October 2019.
