Lars Lanzky Otto

Lars Lanzky Otto is an experienced professional in data governance and risk management, currently serving as the Lead Data Governance Expert at Nordea since September 2017. In this role, Lars leads initiatives focused on establishing stable data foundations for IRB credit risk models, ensuring compliance with the BCBS 239 framework. Previous positions include Risk and Compliance Business Architect, where Lars aligned IT solutions with business requirements, and Business Process Master Expert in Financial Crime Prevention, developing KYC business process landscapes. Prior to Nordea, Lars held senior roles at Velliv, BRF Kredit, and Novo Nordisk, contributing to process optimization, LEAN methodologies, and project management. Lars holds an M.Sc. in Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark and additional education from Copenhagen Business School.
