Ryan Tucker

Ryan Tucker is the co-founder and CEO of G2V Optics. Ryan has over a decade of experience in product design and commercialization, and has led teams through the delivery of architectural installations.

Tucker began their career as a visiting scholar at Eindhoven University of Technology in 2007. Ryan then spent seven years as a visiting researcher at the National Institute for Nanotechnology in Canada. In 2014, they joined Metalboss Technologies Inc. as head of design and technology. Ryan held various positions at Metalboss Technologies Inc., including acting head of construction and head of research and innovation. During their time at Metalboss, Tucker led the team that designed and scaled products for clients large and small, generating several patents along the way.

In 2017, Tucker left Metalboss Technologies Inc. to start G2V Optics with their co-founder. G2V Optics is a product design and development company that specializes in creating optical solutions for a variety of industries.

Ryan Tucker has a PhD in Engineering from the University of Alberta. Ryan also has a BSc in Engineering Physics from the University of Alberta. Ryan is a Professional Member (P. Eng.) of The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).
