Pieter Muntendam

Pieter Muntendam is a seasoned executive in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, currently serving as President and CEO of SQ Innovation, Inc. and G3 Pharmaceuticals since April 2019 and September 2017 respectively. With a focus on developing innovative therapies for heart failure and renal disease, Muntendam has previously held roles such as Co-Principal Investigator and President at BioImage-2 LLC, and Founder and Chairman of Pectacea bv, which specializes in nutritional research. Muntendam also co-founded scPharmaceuticals and led SpringLeaf Therapeutics as President and CEO. Prior experience includes executive positions at BG Medicine and the founding of ProMedex, a pioneering disease management company. Muntendam holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Leiden University Medical School.
