Shilp Purohit

Shilp Purohit is a seasoned bioinformatician with extensive experience in the field, currently serving as a Senior Bioinformatician at G42 Healthcare since February 2022. Previously, Shilp held the position of Senior Engineering Lead at Persistent Systems, where contributions included the development of in-vitro diagnostic software for detecting genetic variations using Next Generation Sequencing. Prior roles include Visiting Scientist at ICRISAT, Scientist at Genotypic Technology, and various positions at Xcelris Labs Ltd., all emphasizing advanced NGS analysis techniques and team leadership. Shilp holds a Master's degree in Bioinformatics from the University of Hertfordshire and a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacology and Pharmacy from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.
