Ken Kutaragi

Graduated from Telecommunications University. Joined Sony in 1975. In 1993, he founded Sony Computer Entertainment (now Sony Interactive Entertainment) through an in-house venture carve-out and became a board member. He is involved in the development and release of PlayStation. In addition to being appointed President and Representative Director of the company in 1999, he has held important positions such as Sony Executive Vice President and COO. In 2009, he became CEO of Cybereye Entertainment. In 2018, he became an outside director of the Company.

He has specialized knowledge in the entertainment business and technical fields and experience in a wide range of corporate management. His experience contributes to his decision-making as a director and is considered to be indispensable for the further growth of the Company in the future, so he is nominated as a candidate.
