Jorge da Costa Ferreira

Jorge da Costa Ferreira is a seasoned professional in product management and data science, currently serving as the Group Product Manager for Global E-commerce at A.P. Moller - Maersk since September 2021. Concurrently, Jorge is a Python Data Science teacher at Gades Solutions, having developed and taught a comprehensive course attended by over 170 students across nine editions. Prior to this, Jorge co-founded ShopAI.co, where innovative solutions were delivered to major clients like Levis and Adidas, and held multiple leadership roles at HUUB, including Head of Product and Data Scientist. Jorge's earlier career included teaching Data Analytics at EDIT and managing a sales team at SLIDE IN Travel, achieving record sales. Academically, Jorge is pursuing a Master’s degree in Modeling, Data Analysis, and Decision Support Systems at the University of Porto, complemented by engineering and industrial management degrees.
