Telma Palma has held a variety of roles in the medical field over the years. Telma began their career in 2006 as a Research Specialist at Karolinska Institutet. In 2007, they moved to the Medical University of South Carolina, where they served as a PhD student and Research Specialist. In 2013, they became a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Instituto de Medicina Molecular. In 2017, they joined Eurotrials as a Clinical Monitoring Associate/Clinical Trials Assistant. In 2019, they were promoted to Senior Technician at Gadeta. In 2021, they were promoted again to Clinical Research Associate at Gadeta.
Telma Palma attended Escola Secundaria Elias Garcia, followed by Universidade de Coimbra, where they studied Biochemistry from 1999 to 2007. Telma then attended Karolinska Institutet in 2005 and 2006 to study Tumor Immunology. In 2008, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biomedical Sciences from the Medical University of South Carolina, with a focus in Tumor Immunology/ Immuno-Oncology. In 2016, they completed a Clinical Research Monitoring course from Eurotrials Scientific Consultants.
