Jason Huffine

Jason Huffine has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Jason is currently working at GAF Energy, starting as a Software Product Manager in February 2022 and progressing to the role of Senior Software Product Manager in March 2023. Prior to their current position, Jason worked at DNV as a Product Manager from November 2021 to February 2022.

Before joining DNV, Jason worked at Borrego as an IT Product Manager from March 2021 to October 2021. Jason previously held the role of IT Business Relationship Manager from February 2020 to March 2021 and Analyst, Estimating Tools from August 2019 to February 2020.

Prior to their time at Borrego, Jason worked at Energy Solutions as a Software Project Manager II from April 2017 to July 2019. Jason also gained experience at Sungevity, where they were a Business Systems Manager, Rebate & Interconnection from October 2016 to March 2017. Before that, they held roles as a Regulatory Specialist from August 2015 to October 2016 and a Rebate & Interconnection Specialist from July 2014 to August 2015.

In addition to their professional experience, Jason has also worked as a Solar Research and Communications Intern at Wiser Capital LLC from February 2014 to June 2014. Jason was a Media Assistant at the Bren School of Environmental Science & Management, UC Santa Barbara from January 2013 to April 2014. Furthermore, they gained experience as a Food Team Consultant at Google from June 2013 to August 2013.

Earlier in their career, Jason worked as a Claims Examiner II at Sedgwick CMS from September 2010 to September 2012. Jason also worked as an English Teacher at I.E.S. Garcilaso de la Vega from September 2009 to May 2010.

Jason Huffine received a Master of Environmental Science and Management degree with a focus on Energy & Climate, Corporate Environmental Management, and Environmental Communication from the Bren School of Environmental Science & Management at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Jason completed this program from 2012 to 2014.

Prior to their master's degree, Jason obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from UCLA, where they also minored in Spanish and Environmental Systems and Society. Jason attended UCLA from 2005 to 2009.

Additionally, Jason participated in a Spanish language, literature, and culture program at the Universidad de Granada in 2007.

In terms of certifications, Jason obtained the Procore Certified: Project Manager certification from Procore Technologies in February 2020. In April 2019, they received the Mendix Rapid Developer certification from Mendix. Furthermore, in December 2018, Jason obtained the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from Scrum Alliance.
