Jiyong Lian

Jiyong Lian has a strong background in the renewable energy industry, with expertise in strategic sourcing, solar engineering, and sales management. They currently serve as the Director of Strategic Sourcing at GAF Energy since August 2022. Prior to this, Jiyong was the Founder & CEO of JWE Solar Engineering and Service Solutions, a company they established in June 2019. They also worked at Sunrun as a Sr. Commodity Manager for inverter and storage products from July 2020 to August 2022. Jiyong's experience includes a role as a Sr. Sales Manager at Delta Electronics (Americas) from August 2019 to July 2020. They also served as the Director of Engineering and Operations at Huawei North America Smart PV Power Plant Solution from December 2016 to July 2019. Earlier in their career, Jiyong worked as a Technical Manager at SunPower Corporation from March 2011 to December 2016 and as a Sr. Electrical Design Engineer at Eaton from April 2006 to December 2010.

Jiyong Lian has a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Power Electronics from the University of New Brunswick.
