Sergio Torres has a diverse and extensive work experience in the creative industry. Sergio began their career as a Junior Copywriter at Ambrosi and Associates, where they worked closely with Designers and Art Directors for top retailers. Sergio quickly advanced to Senior Copywriter within four years.

Afterwards, they joined Gaston Advertising, where they managed a small team as Copy Director and then progressed to Associate Creative Director and Creative Director on major accounts such as Sears and Citigroup.

Following this, Sergio held the position of Lead Copywriter/Creative Director at Sterling Silver Creative, where they were responsible for writing all internal marketing materials and overseeing creative work for assigned accounts.

Sergio then transitioned to OfficeMax as a Senior Manager, Advertising, where they managed and critiqued the work of various creative specialists and ensured the maintenance of the OfficeMax brand identity.

Subsequently, Sergio worked at Schawk, Inc./Anthem Worldwide/Brandimage as a Creative Director, contributing to branding efforts for clients including Amway North America, OfficeMax, and Kmart. Sergio also managed a team of Art Directors and Copywriters and maintained strong client relationships.

As a Freelance Creative Director at Think Sergio, Sergio offered their expertise in web, video, print, in-store signing, and event experiences, providing copywriting, design, video, audio, and content strategy services.

Currently, Sergio serves as a Creative Consultant at Gagen MacDonald, where they collaborate with their creative team to enhance corporate communications for Fortune 500 companies through visuals, presentations, and print. Sergio also took on the role of Director, Marketing Creative during their time there.

Throughout their career, Sergio has demonstrated their passion for film and video through their own website, Kick A Rock, where they collaborate with friends to create sketch videos for the web.

Sergio Torres completed their Associates degree in General Studies from Moraine Valley Community College from 1994 to 1997. Sergio then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing Communication from Columbia College Chicago from 1997 to 1999. In addition to their formal education, Sergio obtained several certifications from lynda.com, including Motion 5 Essential Training in April 2014, Commercial Editing Techniques with Final Cut Pro X in February 2014, InDesign CS6 New Features in February 2014, Photoshop CS6 New Features in February 2014, and Illustrator CS6 New Features in January 2014.
