Jason Bates

Jason Bates possesses extensive experience in educational leadership and curriculum development, currently serving as Curriculum Coordinator for K-12 Science and High School Academic Officer at Gahanna-Jefferson Public Schools since August 2018. Prior to this role, Jason held various positions within the Olentangy Local School District, including Assistant Principal at Olentangy High School and Mathematics Teacher and Department Chair at both Olentangy Orange High School and Olentangy Orange Middle School. Additional experience includes positions at the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth, where Jason worked as a Geometry Lead Course Mentor and Instructor during summer sessions from June 2001 to June 2009. Earlier in Jason's career, a role as a Mathematics Teacher was held at Groveport Madison High School for the 2003-2004 academic year. Jason Bates holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, Secondary Mathematics Education from Ohio University and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Dayton.
