Cory White Eit

Cory White, EIT, is a professional with diverse experience in environmental engineering and resource management. Currently serving as Senior EIT 1 at GAI Consultants, Inc. since June 2019, Cory has progressed through various engineering roles within the company. Prior experience includes a position as a Graduate Research Assistant at Penn State Harrisburg, focusing on heavy metals' adsorption to ocean plastics and biogas production from de-ice fluid. An internship with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection involved ensuring compliance with air quality regulations and developing a reporting system for emissions. As a Field Biologist Intern at Westervelt Ecological Services, Cory engaged in compliance communication, tree species identification, and wetland delineation across multiple states. Earlier work as a Crew Trainer at McDonald's included training new staff in operational procedures. Academically, Cory holds a B.S. in Environmental Resource Management and a Master of Engineering in Environmental Engineering from Penn State University and Penn State Harrisburg, respectively.
