Leigh Rounce

Leigh Rounce is a Senior Project EIT at GAI Consultants, Inc. since September 2018, with prior experience as a Content Developer at Goalbook, where curriculum for high school math was created. Rounce has a diverse background in education, having served as a Science Teacher at Family Centered Services of Alaska, teaching various science subjects to high school students, and as a Secondary Mathematics Teacher at Skyline High School, focusing on Geometry, Algebra I, and Algebra II. During an academic career, Rounce worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin, analyzing indoor air pollutants, and also contributed to curriculum development and teaching at Hello World Tech Studio. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Environmental and Water Resources Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, a Preliminary Teaching Credential in Secondary Mathematics from Loyola Marymount University, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
