Serena J. has extensive experience in the wellness and yoga industries, currently serving as the Head of Yoga International at Gaia, Inc. since November 2022. Previously, Serena held various leadership roles at Yoga International from October 2016 to November 2022, including VP of Product Development and Senior Producer, where efforts focused on developing high-quality subscription video on demand (SVOD) content and partnerships. At the Himalayan Institute, Serena was the Head of Marketing and Brand, driving marketing and branding strategies for wellness retreats and online content. The early career included roles at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts and Aeterna Media & Consulting, the latter being a consulting business that supported entrepreneurs in various aspects of business development. Serena holds a Master of Science in Education from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Baylor University with double majors in International Business and Entrepreneurship.
