Krista Ott serves as the Community Resource Paramedicine Program Coordinator at Gainesville Fire Rescue, where a commitment to enhancing public health through addressing social determinants of health is demonstrated. With extensive experience in various roles at Gainesville Fire Rescue, including Interim Community Resource Paramedicine Coordinator and Fire and Life Safety Educator, Krista has successfully implemented initiatives aimed at improving community health and safety. Notably, Krista played a key role in the City of Gainesville’s first Community Health Improvement Plan as the Interim Community Health Director. Academic credentials include a Master’s Degree in Emergency Management and a Bachelor's Degree focused on Fire and EMS from the University of Florida.
